You know something needs to change
You may have sent people to conferences, bought books, talked about leadership in meetings. And nothing stuck. Not because your people don't care, but because isolated training doesn't create shared change.
You sent someone to a conference and they came back inspired for a week. Then the daily grind absorbed whatever they learned. Nobody else on the team experienced what they experienced, so there was no shared context to build on.
You've talked about accountability in meetings, and heads nod, but nothing changes. Your team agrees with the concept but doesn't have a shared framework for what accountability actually looks like day to day. Without that, conversations stay surface level.
You keep losing people you invested in. They leave for the same reasons: they don't feel developed, they don't see a path, or the culture issues that are hard to address when every day is already full finally wore them down. Recruiting replacements costs more every time.
You're spending your time putting out fires instead of developing the people who handle them. Not because your team isn't capable, but because they don't have the coaching or the habits to catch problems early and own the response. So everything escalates to you, and the more you solve, the less your team grows.
Generic leadership training doesn't translate. The advice sounds reasonable in a conference room, but it was designed for corporate offices, not a veterinary practice where someone is managing client complaints, a staffing gap, and an emergency surgery all before lunch.
"We went from having only a couple applicants, ones that we weren't even really excited about, to putting an ad out and getting flooded with 20 to 30 applicants within hours."
Dr. Adam H — North Royalton Animal Hospital
What changes when your team has the right tools
The Veterinary Leadership Program doesn't train individuals in isolation. It moves your entire team through the same experience, at the same pace, with the same language. That's what makes the difference between a workshop that fades and a shift that lasts.
Problems get solved where they start
Your team develops a shared accountability framework. When something breaks down, your people address it with each other instead of waiting for you to step in. You spend less time managing problems and more time building the practice.
Difficult conversations stop being avoided
Everyone learns the same approach for feedback and tough conversations. The performance issue that's been festering for months gets addressed because your team has a process for it, not just the courage.
New hires ramp faster and stay longer
Your team builds a shared onboarding and hiring framework. People coming in experience a team that knows how to integrate them, develop them, and make them feel like they belong. Your turnover costs go down.
Change actually sticks
When you introduce something new, your team has the vocabulary and the commitment to implement it together. Changes don't die after two weeks because the whole team is moving in the same direction, not just the one person who went to the conference.
How the Veterinary Leadership Program works
The Veterinary Leadership Program runs about 12 weeks. Your team works through the curriculum at the same pace, with live coaching from Randy Hall and a cohort of peers from other practices facing the same challenges.
1
Your team enrolls and gets immediate membership access
Every participant receives a full year of VetLead membership the moment they enroll, with access to the complete resource library, on-demand courses, and tools. The program hasn't started yet, but your team can start exploring.
2
The cohort kicks off live with Randy Hall
The Q2 2026 cohort starts May 4 at 12:00 PM ET on Zoom. Randy opens the program, sets the framework, and your team begins the first module alongside their cohort peers.
3
Six modules over 12 weeks
Each module builds on the last: from establishing your leadership foundation to accountability, change, coaching, hiring, and self-leadership. The curriculum is designed for veterinary teams and the real situations they face every week.
4
Two live group coaching sessions with Randy
Bring your real challenges. Randy works through actual situations from your practice and from practices across the cohort. These aren't lectures. They're working sessions where you leave with something you can use tomorrow.
5
Your team finishes with a shared vision and processes to realize it
By the end, your team has a common framework for accountability, communication, coaching, hiring, and change. This shared vocabulary is what makes the difference between training and lasting change in your practice.
I have been able to immediately put into practice lessons on coaching with my new lead tech. I've used the 5-step coaching format and helped teach my technician and practice manager to start applying it as well. The knowledge has already spread to other hospitals.
Dr. Alan B, Pet Medic Urgent Care
What you and your team will learn
Six modules, each designed around a challenge your practice is already facing. The sequence matters: each module builds on the one before it, so your team develops skills in the order they'll need them.
Module 1
A Foundation to Build On
Reflects on leadership mindset and sets a personalized vision for where your team is going. This is the starting point that everything else connects back to.
Module 2
Leading a Fully Accountable Team
Builds the accountability framework your team will use from this point forward. Accountability becomes something people own, not something you enforce.
Module 3
Making Change Happen
Equips your team with systems for implementing change with full buy-in. When you introduce something new, it doesn't die after two weeks.
Module 4
Coaching Others to Improve Performance
Teaches a coaching approach that maximizes individual growth. Your team learns how to develop each other, not just manage each other.
Module 5
Hiring, Onboarding, and Training
Refines how your team recruits, integrates, and develops new hires. Your next hire doesn't implode in 60 days because the process is built before they arrive.
Module 6
Self Leadership
Focuses on sustaining your best work, impact, and wellbeing for the long run. Leading a practice is demanding. This module makes it sustainable.
"It's no longer about just what the management thinks needs to happen. The whole hospital has empowerment to try to decide the best direction for us to take."
Joanna C — Foster Animal Hospital

I built this program to help veterinary teams grow together.
I've spent over 20 years coaching leaders in the veterinary industry, and early on I noticed something. I could work with a practice manager or an owner one-on-one, and they'd grow. They'd get better. But when they went back to their team, the team hadn't moved.
That's when I realized that if you want a practice to change, you can't just develop one person. You have to give the whole team a shared experience, a shared language, and a shared set of tools. That's what the Veterinary Leadership Program does. It's not a course you watch alone. It's a structured experience your team goes through together, with coaching and support the entire way.
I've watched practices come through this program and walk out with a team that communicates differently, handles conflict differently, and holds each other accountable in ways they never did before. Not because they read a book about it, but because they built the skills together.
"This program has made me realize that I need to make a conscious effort every day to be present in the moment. Being in a group, you realize you are not isolated and in some way we all struggle. That was comforting news."
Ruth S — Oradell Animal Hospital

Questions you might have
Plan for a one to two hours per week over 12 weeks. That includes watching module content, reviewing worksheets, and participating in the two live coaching sessions with Randy. The program is designed for busy veterinary professionals who can't step away from practice for days at a time.
You or your team will be alongside veterinary professionals from other practices going through the same experience. The cohort creates peer learning opportunities: your team hears how other practices are handling similar challenges, which often sparks ideas they wouldn't have found on their own.
You can enroll any number of participants, including just yourself. That said, the program is highly effective when multiple people from the same practice go through it together. Shared language and shared frameworks make the difference between training and lasting change.
Conferences deliver inspiration. This program delivers change. A conference gives one person a few days of exposure to ideas. The Veterinary Leadership Program gives your team 12 weeks of structured development, shared frameworks they apply together, and live coaching on the situations they're actually facing. The difference is between hearing about leadership and practicing it together.
The program is approved for continuing education credit by both RACE and CVPM. Participants complete a short assessment at the end to receive their credits.
Every participant gets a full year of VetLead membership starting at enrollment, before the cohort even begins. That includes the entire on-demand course library, monthly live group sessions with Randy, downloadable guides and tools, the members-only podcast, and additional CE credit opportunities. It's ongoing support that continues long after the program ends.
The 12 week structure gives flexibility. Module content is available on-demand, so someone who misses a week can catch up. The two live sessions with Randy are available to all participants. The program is built for veterinary teams who have unpredictable schedules.
