Exclusively for veterinary leaders

Leading a veterinary team is one of the hardest jobs nobody trained you for.

The profession invests in clinical excellence and expects leadership to follow. But that doesn't always happen. VetLead was built to help you close the gap, with the tools, live access, and support to change outcomes in your practice.

You already know what's not working

You don't need someone to tell you leadership is important. You need someone who understands what it actually looks like at 4 PM on a Tuesday when three things are falling apart at once.

There's a conversation you've been avoiding for weeks. You know exactly who it's with and what needs to be said. You just don't know how to start it without making things worse.

You've been promoted, and the person who used to be your friend now reports to you. The dynamic has shifted and neither of you knows how to talk about it without feeling awkward.

Your last hire interviewed well and imploded within 60 days. It cost you two months of training, thousands in turnover, and the morale of the team that covered the gaps.

Two people on your team aren't speaking to each other, and everyone else is navigating around it. You're not sure how to address it or stop it from happening in the future.

You've know what needs to change. Your team nods, complies for a week, then reverts. You're starting to wonder what it's going to take to get them on board with your vision.

You carry the stress home every night. You're managing everyone else's problems and nobody is managing yours. Your boss doesn't listen and expects you to "figure it out."

These aren't leadership failures. They're the situations every veterinary leader faces when they've been given responsibility without tools. VetLead was built for exactly this.

What changes when you have the right tools

VetLead members get outcomes, not just content. Every course, video, and resource is built around the real situations you're facing in your practice this week.

Difficult conversations stop being the thing you avoid

That performance issue you've been dancing around for weeks? You'll have a way to start the conversation that doesn't blow up in your face. Not a script. A framework that changes how people hear you, starting with one question that lowers defenses before you say a word.

Your next hire doesn't implode in 60 days

You'll know what to ask in interviews that actually reveals fit, not just polish. And when someone starts, they'll have a path that gets them contributing in weeks instead of stumbling for months while your team quietly picks up the slack.

Gossip and drama stop running your practice

Your team builds communication norms they actually follow. People start holding each other accountable before it reaches you. The passive-aggressive scheduling "mistakes" and the silent treatment between techs get addressed instead of ignored.

You lead from intention instead of reaction

You stop solving every problem yourself and start building a team that solves them. You figure out how to get in sync with your boss, find some version of work-life harmony, and make this role sustainable instead of something that burns you out.

Randy Hall, VetLead

I've been inside practices like yours for over 20 years.

I often get to work with veterinary leaders who are stepping into a leadership role with little preparation. A great technician gets promoted to supervisor or steps into a practice manager role. A veterinarian opens her own practice because she’s passionate about medicine, and suddenly has a team to lead, conflicts to resolve, and a culture to build.

What I've learned is that even really good people struggle as leaders. They aren’t bad people, they just need the tools to lead well. They might think they have to "figure it out" and they're doing their best, but their best is costing them sleep, stress, and depleting energy they used to bring to this work.

That's what VetLead is for. This isn’t motivational content that fades by next week. It’s tools and processes for the situations you're facing this week, whether that's a conversation you've been putting off, a team member who's checked out, or a hire you can't afford to get wrong.

I can have my new team leaders look at these videos and review them. Then we can have great conversations about where we’re going and what we’re doing.

Questions you might have

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Choose the monthly plan and you get immediate access to Weeks 1 and 2 of the Leadership Challenge for 14 days. You'll enter payment information at signup, but you won't be charged until day 15. Cancel anytime during the trial and you pay nothing. No hidden fees, no early billing.

What's the difference between monthly and annual?

Same content, same access. Monthly is $29/month with a 14-day free trial. Annual is $319 for 12 months (you pay for 11, one month free), charged at signup with full access immediately.

Why do you ask for a credit card for a free trial?

So there's no interruption to your access if you decide to continue. If you cancel before day 15, you're not charged.

What do I get during the trial vs. after I become a member?

During your trial, you get Weeks 1 and 2 of the Leadership Challenge: accountability and engagement. When your trial converts to paid membership, you unlock Weeks 3 and 4 (conflict resolution and hiring), plus the full course library, tactical videos, live sessions with Randy, downloadable resources, the members-only podcast, and CE credits. Annual members get everything from day one.

Do members get a discount on the Veterinary Leadership Program?

Yes. If you're a member when you enroll in an upcoming Veterinary Leadership Program (VLP) cohort, you receive a discount on your participant rate. The VLP is a comprehensive guided experience where Randy works directly with you in a group setting. It's a separate investment, but membership gets you there for less.

Can my practice pay for this?

Many do. We have an approval kit with a ready-to-send email and a one-page summary you can share with your practice owner or hospital administrator. At $29/month with CE credits included, most practices approve it quickly. If your practice wants to enroll several team members at once, we also offer group billing.

What happens after the 4-week challenge?

The challenge is your starting point. After that, you have ongoing access to on-demand courses, monthly live coaching with Randy, the full video library, all downloadable resources, the podcast, and CE credits. New content is added regularly. Leadership isn't a one-time event. It's a practice.

How do CE credits work?

CE credits are earned through structured on-demand courses in the member area, with both RACE and CVPM-approved options available. In most cases you will take a simple quiz to demonstrate your knowledge.

Is this just for practice managers?

VetLead is built for anyone in a veterinary leadership role or moving toward one. Practice owners, veterinarians, practice managers, supervisors, team leads, and aspiring leaders all find value in the content. If you're responsible for how other people on your team perform and grow, this was built for you.

Start with 14 days. See what changes.

The conversations get easier. People start owning their work. The gossip quiets down. It starts with 14 days and one decision.
